I have been going to Dorian's for years. Everyone is always so friendly and the service is always great. They only serve lunch. The parking can be a bit difficult during the busy lunch hours. They offer sandwiches, melts, burgers, salads, fries, homemade chips. I typically order a BLT with the Paul's chips (the homemade ones) with ranch. The ranch is so good here - they make it in house. They also have crinkle fries which are the best to dip into ranch. They have rotating daily specials so check the board when you walk in.

Lived in Matthews for 10 yrs. first time to Dorians today. Sat for 10 mins, at a dirty table. 2 waitresses walked by at least 5 times, watched 2 other tables who clearly sat down after we did be served drinks and have orders taken. Got up and left. Will never return.

Dorian's is a hidden gem in Matthews! It's tucked away so that you might miss it if you aren't paying attention. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately and the server was knowledgeable about the menu. My husband and I each ordered a burger and we were very pleased with our food. You could tell the meat was fresh and burgers were hand pattied. The fries were crinkly and crunchy and freshly cooked. There were many other appetizing items on the menu as well.

Dorians is an old classic if you have lived in Matthews for any period of time. It isnt going to wow you when you walk in but the food and the customer service will. The food is classic sandwiches and deli selections served with really really good sides. BEST SWEET TEA and the pita burger is one of my favorite things to order. Us they have crinkle cut fries as a side and I'm a sucker for those. The staff are great. They are very kind and definitely take care of you. Come here once and you'll find yourself coming back over and over again.

A truly unlike stop! If you aren't looking for this place, you will miss it. Tucked away, this is a hidden gem of Matthews. Dorian's Deli & Grill reminds me of Tom's Resturant from Seinfeld for some reason. Maybe it's the staff that works there, or the home-y feeling you get as soon as you walk through the door, but there's just something about this place that puts you at ease.
With a pretty extensive menu (they only serve lunch), I opted for a Ruben and homemade chips. I was pleasantly surprised with the meal.
Decent sized portions. the chips alone would make you come back for more and the friendly demeanor of the staff is the cherry on top.
Because they're only open for lunch, finding a seat can be a little bit of an issue (or parking in the lot) but don't worry a lot of folks order at the counter and take their good to go.
